Family Portrait
The Portrait
REMEMBER when we learned to draw a person's face? The Portrait
This week, I want you to draw a portrait of a person in your family.
Things to remember:
- The head is an oval (egg shape) with the pointy part at the bottom
- eyes are in the CENTER
- ears line up with the eyes
- nose is in the center of the eyes and chin
- mouth is the center of the nose and chin
- Artists ALWAYS draw the lines lightly so they can be erased
Watch this quick video on how to make a portrait:
Color your portrait with anything you have at home....crayons, markers, colored pencils, paint
