Welcome to 5th Grade!

Welcome to 5th grade I am so happy you are here! My name is Mrs. Cochrane or Mrs. C. I’m so happy to be your 5th  grade teacher for the 2023 - 2024 school year. This will begin my 10th year of teaching. I taught in Virginia for 7 of those years, and at Dennis Township Primary for 3 years.  This is my first year at the elementary building, but not my first time in 5th grade. I am excited to be back.

I grew up in DT and went to college at JMU in VA where I met my husband and mastered in Elementary Education. We have three daughters and still love to go visit Virginia when we get the time between busy sports schedule and family time. In my free time, I enjoy coaching basketball and softball so you'll likely catch me at the Rec throughout the year.
