Welcome Message

Hello, my name is Kate Bobst and I am delighted to be working with the students, families, faculty, and staff at Dennis Township School District.

As the Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction and Special Services, I am proud to be a part of this amazing school district and community.

Curriculum and Instruction:

The Dennis Township School District is committed to providing a K-8, standards-aligned, rigorous and relevant, 21st Century curriculum for all students, in all content areas, and in all grades and courses.

Teachers from each academic department will be engaged in each of the components of the curriculum review cycle to ensure curricular alignment with the New Jersey Academic Standards of Achievement. In addition, the curriculum review process includes refining our local assessment plans and engaging students in research-based learning experiences that are designed to promote college and career readiness upon graduation. While the cycle provides the structure necessary to ensure an intentional focus on each step of the curriculum development process, it is still flexible and nimble in order to permit responsiveness to new initiatives and frequent changes required by the New Jersey Department of Education.

Special Services:

Dennis Township School District offers a variety of services to support our students. Our Special Education Department consists of special education teachers, a school psychologist, an LDT-C, counselors, an occupational therapist, a physical therapist, and speech-language therapists. In addition to this, we provide a continuum of services including Intervention and Referral Services (l&RS), school counseling and support services, enrichment opportunities, and 504 accommodations.   It is a district wide goal to support the social-emotional development and well-being of our students as well as their academic growth and development. As we navigate these challenging times, I am committed to working as a team to support each and every student and family.

I look forward to a wonderful school year, collaborating and working alongside Dennis Township School District students, staff, and families. Go Hawks!

All my best,

Kate Bobst
