Welcome to Art Class!  

 

Thank you for the privilege of introducing your students to the exciting world of art!

 

Art is such a wonderful and joyous subject, students can imagine, create and experiment while building strong cognitive, affective and analytic thinking skills.  Primary learners will sharpen their fine motor skills and develop the focus and curiosity that will support their early efforts at reading and academics.  

 

Students will be exploring a wide variety of art materials, famous artists, artworks and world cultures, all while experiencing the many elements of art. Art adventures are great confidence builders, as art provides a learning environment where one can never make a mistake! Whatever my students imagine, is a beautiful expression of their own personal creativity.  I can't wait to see all of their amazing artworks!
