Students toured the museum and were given the opportunity to meet Ruth Zinman, a Holocaust survivor from Romania. Zinman, 83, shared memories, struggles, and experiences of the Holocaust with students. Her message was to love others, be tolerant and respectful of those who are different, and to cherish life everyday. She encouraged students to stand up for what is right and to find the good in people. Zinman gave each student an autographed copy of her story to take home and share. Dennis Township Schools would like to thank the Sam Azeez Museum, Jane Stark, Director of the Museum, and Ruth Zinman for educating our students on the Holocaust.
