Local business owners, members of the armed services, working professionals, and Cape May Tech students descended upon Dennis Township Middle School on Friday, March 16 to talk with students about their futures. Students completed career surveys online and were given schedules to follow so they would visit tables targeted to their interests. Members of the community donated their time to speak to the students about careers, education, and the perks of their chosen fields. School counselor Monica DiVito was thrilled with the day and said the excitement was palpable. Students were really interested in their futures, and it’s never too soon to think about the future. Monica DiVito, librarian Julie Factor, and intern Megan Fleck put together a wonderful day.
