Recycling Assembly

Third graders in Dennis Township learned about the importance of recycling in a special assembly.

CMCMUA recycling coordinator Lynn Crumback taught the students the value of recycling and how it helps the environment and community.

Crumback's sidekick, Tookie 2-Can, delighted the students as Crumback read them a story.

Crumback and Tookie showed the students how to repurpose plastic shopping bags into fun items like hats and jump ropes.

Organized by third grade teacher Alison Curvan, the assembly is part of the Primary School Earth Day activities.
