April 2017 Employees of the Month for Dennis Township School District: Primary School physical education teacher Steve Sorenson and Middle School aide Terri Stella.
A long-time Dennis Township teacher, Sorenson is well known among his colleagues for his sense of humor and practical jokes. Students love his gym and health classes and he plays an important role as a senior teacher in the Primary School. Stella has worked as an aide in Dennis Township for many years and is recognized as knowledgeable, dependable and able to handle teaching any class in the school. Her own two sons, both in college, are Dennis Township alumni.
Dennis Township Principal Jamie VanArtsdalen implemented the Employees of the Month program to recognize more employees for their hard work and dedication. Employees of the Month receive a certificate, use of a designated parking spot for the month and the acclaim of their administrator and colleagues.
