Reading Fair

As part of the Dennis Township Primary School's Literacy Week, the third grade classes participated for the third year in a row in a Reading Fair.

Students create projects based on their chosen books and are judged based on "the clarity of their written work and the creativity of their presentation," explains third grade teacher Alison Curvan.

Megan Glassford, another third grade teacher, says, "I was hoping this project would allow my students an opportunity to showcase their talents and feel proud of themselves."

As teacher of three of the four winning students, Drew Albany is thrilled.  "My three students were very passionate and determined about challenging one another to be as creative as possible," Albany states.
