Dennis Township 7th grade Language Arts teacher Amanda Unkle receives Teacher of the Year 2016 award from Star Lodge #65. As part of the award and based on specific criteria, Unkle chose 7th graders Raymond Bozarth and Jordyn Mulligan to receive a special student scholarship. Unkle was nominated for the award by Principal Jamie VanArtsdalen. "I'm honored to receive this recognition and thrilled that some of my students get to share this award," Unkle says.
