The February 2017 Employees of the Month for Dennis Township School District: 5th grade teacher Jen Peabody and 3rd grade teacher Meghan Christy.
Having worked in the district for the last ten years, Jen Peabody is well known and liked by students and colleagues. She has been teaching fifth grade for the last five years and has served as a coach, athletic director and summer camp director for the district. Meghan Christy, a resource room teacher in third grade, is in her fifth year in the district and loves her work. She enjoys her students and looks forward every day to working with her kids and colleagues at the Primary School.
Dennis Township Principal Jamie VanArtsdalen implemented the Employees of the Month program to recognize more employees for their hard work and dedication. Employees of the Month receive a certificate, use of a designated parking spot for the month and the acclaim of their administrator and colleagues.
