November 2016 Employees of the Month for Dennis Township School District: 1st Grade Teacher Kathy Lucey and 6th Grade Teacher Lisa Pettit.
Both veteran teachers, Lucey and Pettit have the respect and admiration of their colleagues. Lucey is known at the primary school as a caring, nurturing teacher who will go the extra mile to make sure her young students are learning. Pettit is recognized as a strong middle school teacher as well as coaching this year's winning girl's field hockey team.
Dennis Township Principal Jamie VanArtsdalen implemented the Employees of the Month program to recognize more employees for their hard work and dedication. Employees of the Month receive a certificate, use of a designated parking spot for the month and the acclaim of their administrator and colleagues.
