Interest & Balance Project

Ms. Gonnam’s seventh graders concluded their Percents chapter by completing a “College: Interest & Balance” project. They took a personality test to help pick their career choice, picked a Major of study, and researched various colleges & trade schools. After students picked their school, they calculated the amount of money they would put forth in order to pay off a loan for the amount their education would cost. It is a great project to get students thinking about their plans after high school and makes them aware of how much interest can accrue when taking out a loan. #dtschoolsrock
