DTMS celebrated its student athletes with awards for: Heart & Hustle, Sportsmanship, Defensive Players, Offensive Players, Most Valuable Players, Scholar-Athletes, and Most Improved. Baseball and volleyball coach, Kevin Poltorak was announced as this year's Richard E Champion Coach of the Year.
