Retired teacher and therapy dog trainer Karen adopts black dogs in an attempt to destigmatize the “black dog syndrome,” where some are fearful of black dogs or prefer lighter dogs who photograph better than darker dogs. Karen will be bringing Molly or her siblings to Dennis Township Schools on a monthly basis to meet with, snuggle with, and be read to by students of all grade levels. Today’s primary school students learned sign commands to communicate with Molly, because she is a deaf therapy dog. #dtschoolsrock
