Following in the footsteps of Principal Jamie VanArtsdalen's Pancakes with the Principal, Dennis Township students recently enjoyed breakfast burritos with Mr. C.
Mr. C, aka Carlos Covarrubias, is the district's Spanish teacher and 8th grade advisor.
Originally from Mexico and proud of his heritage, Covarrubias provided students two different homemade salsas and hand-rolled breakfast burritos.
"I like seeing students explore different foods and trying out new things," explains Covarrubias.
VanArtsdalen agrees and says she appreciates his efforts to provide a unique experience for the students.
